Leonardo Da Vinci (1452-1519) born in Italy was known as the universal man because of his many and varied talents. Many seem to remember him more for his paintings such as the Mona Lisa and the portrait of the last supper which was the focus of the the recent hit book and movie the Da Vinci Code, but he was more than that.
Leonardo was a paintor, sculptor, architect, engineer, inventor, scientist, scholar, anatomist, botanist and zoologist, all combined into a single personality. No wonder he was called ten men in one, try finding people like that today.

Da vinci was mad guy bcoz of his mental instabilty He quoted that Jesus was married and Funny News ..How come he know all the things He was born in 14th Century and dont all about Jesus… Soo people pls dont beleive him..Jesus is the Son of God who came to this Earth to save the Sinners…Soo HE gave his life on the Cross…Soo pls Dont believe in any one ’s comments ..You can refer to the Bible and Can do researches on that….Its a Holy Bible….Given by God himself ….

Anudeep, Stop preaching, fair enough to your opinion but mine is that the bible is just brainwashing tool, just as rap music is today. Less people believe in god these days and more believe in acting in an evil way, Why? well i think its because of tv the world has changed. People dont think for themselves because they cant.
Also..Da Vinci was not unstable, he was a genius. At least he could spell unlike you anyway

Da Vinci was a genius. And if u read in to his beliefs and your not a dumb ass like Anudeep then it makes a lot of since. and there is nothing to prove that he is wrong except the bible but realy if u think about it what proof do u have that it is true. it was ritten by men and as we all no men fuck up alot

leonardo…well he was probably the greatest man who ever lived, perhaps he was suffering from insanity,but no other scientist has had the futuristic views of leonardo…man in flight…hundreds of years before the modern man,he had invented it…and following tests,yes it would of worked, but personally …his work on the human body,scientists invented or so they thought,the heart valve…but go back years hundreds of years…and a man had already done it , ….leonardo da vinci. a man born before his time….

So basically, for some of you all(who appear to not believe in anything, which I presume) your saying that, now since nearly no one believes in a god, things have gotten better, haven’t they? Let me disagree with that mind set. Because when we had god, albeit wars and the like, at least people had some morales and wouldn’t do this or that(yeah I know there were still double standards). Maybe people were even nicer too, then they are today. Maybe they were just a tad less selfish then people today. Let me give you an example of a selfish ungrateful person today: people who say “As long as that person _insert does something odd like having love dolls ect._ he/she doesn’t effect me, so I don’t need to worry!”

You just got to love how fickle people are. 500 years ago they were so into in believing god and all that other stuff, and now, the majority don’t. I love it! I love general humans, who can’t think for themselves. Oh well, it all goes in a circle. The religious people are now the ones being persecuted for their beliefs, while the scientists and that sha bang are the right ones. Who’s right? Should be a balance between the two, instead of one dominating the other. by the way, I believe in god or a god, and jesus.
jesus could have been married leonardo was a great mind and most of the bibles teachings have been disproved (sun going around the earth) and the bible was writen by humans and anything done my humans is unreliable so dont believe everything you read Jesus could have been married but most likely not but there is a possibility
Artists, especially visual, can be more trusted on the products of their hands, and even their feet, but not more on the products of their mouth. So, I think and I believe that it is just proper to trust da Vinci by what his hands had drawn or sketched, than to trust his words. Let’s be more objective.
In fact, what we all know by now about da Vinci is based on the author’s point of view when he/she wrote something about da vinci…Nobody can prove his lunacy but of course, there is no such thing that can dispute his genius, “if”, he really does EXIST!!!…Remember the issues about the actual EXISTENCE of Shakespeare guys???…Let’s just enjoy this site for what it presents, for the author of this site is also entitled to his/her own intellectual rights, and so are we…And one thing more, Jesus and da Vinci are two totally different subjects…I can see no reason for having an argument here…Btw jz a little bit of a trivia, da Vinci can write with his left and right hand at the same time, in German and Italian consequently…

i think that Leonardo DaVinci was and still is the greatest mind to have ever lived!!!! I have studied him and his times and he was also a loving and caring human being who helped many people even if they were poor , so if you are ignorant and stupid please keep your dumb comments out of this site!!! thanks
Da Vinci was a genius in many different traits and aspects. if you are a firm beleiver in God. Please read the First Testament before you start referring to your “Bible”. The Bible was not given to us by God, but written by man. it is purely a guide line to live a happy and fulfilling life without destroying the hope of others. And im sorry to say Anudeep but if you are a firm beleiving sheep, godz is spelt God’s. That is his name and you should always capitalize. Da Vinci was a man that broke through Biblical and Modern art (for his time), invented many useful tools that are still the basis for many trade tools to this day. His theories on man and the Earth and still widely renowned and respected. We should be greatful that a man such Da Vinci had beathed the same air we do. Peace..
what makes him different than van gogh.. both are good painter
